Acclaimed guitarist and Martin ambassador Craig Thatcher will provide live musical examples\, showcasing how Martin instruments have inspired artists from Kurt Cobain to today’s most influential performers. \n\n\n\nThe Royal College of Music Museum is currently hosting the “Kurt Cobain Unplugged” exhibition from June 3 to November 18\, 2025\, featuring the legendary Martin D-18E guitar and olive-green mohair cardigan from Nirvana’s iconic MTV Unplugged performance. The exhibition explores the history of Nirvana’s groundbreaking session and marks the first time these two significant artifacts have been displayed together in the UK.
