Checking out the Martin SC-13.

This was shot back in Fall, 2019. We introduced this radically new guitar at NAMM 2020 in Anaheim, CA. I played it for 4 days, about 6 hours each day. The guitar was quite a success for Martin & Co. and to this day, sells quite well.

This was event was an awesome moment in time for me, both professionally and personally. I can’t fully express how much of an honor this was. I’ve never shared this before, so for the first time, Jorma and I performing his iconic song, “Good Shepherd.” A tip of the hat to my dear friend, Dick Boak who made this happen. Jorma and I performing, “Good Shepherd,” at Boak Bash I, January 28th, 2018 at the State Theatre for the Arts in Easton, PA. I hope you like it.

Change The World as performed by Cliff Starkey and Craig Thatcher

Longtime dear friend and fab keyboardist/vocalist, Cliff Starkey and I recorded this
in my home studio during the pandemic. To this day we play it at nearly all of our performances, band and otherwise.

Here’s an interesting story regarding this song. I was performing at a Martin Guitar event in Nashville and a gentleman by the name of Gordon Kennedy was in the audience. We were introduced and to make a long story short, he was one of the songwriters who wrote, “Change The World.” So naturally, I invited him onstage to sing while I played
it. By the way, Gordon’s father, Jerry Kennedy, played guitar on Roy Orbison’s hit song, “Oh, Pretty Woman!” He also played on recordings by Elvis and host of other well-known artists. One just never knows…

My dear friend, CF “Chris” Martin IV and I introducing my Martin Guitar Signature Series 000 model guitar in Fall, 2024. I’m still over the moon about receiving such an honor! I want to thank all of my Martin friends/colleagues in Nazareth & Navojoa for making this possible and creating such a wonderful instrument. And my heartfelt gratitude to Chris Martin for coming up with the idea for this guitar and allowing me to design it. I also want to thank Jen Weiss & Rameen Shayegan for facilitating/coordinating the build with our wonderful Martin team in Navojoa.
